Potsherd

In prior posts I mentioned pieces of God's work in my life. On January 1, 2026 I awoke in a dystonia flare-up brought on by occipital injections that had been done the previous day. These flare-ups occur regularly. I was not originally concerned. Three weeks later however, the constant pain had begun to work on my emotions. Along with the deterioration of my physical health, my mental health crashed. The majority of time, I was in bed. I grew angry with God over the life I was missing as well as the pain and depression that were occuring. I began grumbling and complaining constantly. I started to question what I had done for God to hate me.

                     "Woe to him who quarrels

                               with his Maker,

to him who is but a potsherd

among the potsherds of the ground"

                                             Isaiah 45:9 (NIV)

On April 1, 2026, feeling fed up with being sick, I set about putting together a "she shed." I was residing in a metal building with a living space of approximately 5,000 sq. ft. that had three windows. The darkness was killing me. It was merely adding to my depression. I spent my days, wallowing in self-pity. On April 1 however, I proceeded to ready the tractor, hook up the camper, and bring it from storage to my home. Even though this was the most physical work I had done since January 1, I was determined and would not give up. By April 8, 2026, my "she shed" was set up and ready for use. That very day, through my journaling, I began crying out to God for help. I was completely oblivious to what I was doing and unaware of what God was putting into place.

"And He that sat upon the throne

said, Behold, I make all things new.

And He said unto me, write for these

                       words are new and faithful."

                                         Revelation 21:5 (KJV)

Writing is exactly what I began doing on April 8th and I am currently still writing God's words. God started my new journal that day, then spent the next three months transforming me from "Princess" into "God's Princess." Quick overview... January to April: potsherd wallowing in self-pity. April: "she shed" ready, new journal, and crying out unknowingly for help from God. May: tick bite that started most serious part of my illness and increased the severity of dystonia and fibromyalgia. June: had a testimony of God's work in my life. July: "God's Princess " was born. August: my entire life changes. So God took me from potsherd to God's Princess. I promise you all, He can and will do the same for you.

                                                      All my love,

                                                         Christie

                                                   "God's Princess"
